The Kyle XY hottie stopped by our office to dish about the show.

So are you an L.A. kind of guy?所以你是那种洛杉矶男人吗？
Yeah, definitely a west-coast kind of guy. I like New York…but I grew up in Phoenix, so I’m a west-coast guy. I like having a car, and the sun.

Ok, so what’s the most fun part about the show? 好的，那么你觉得剧集里最有趣的部分是？
For me, the most exciting part is getting to explore a new character because Kyle’s like a newborn, so getting to discover everything for the first time...there’s no limitations as to where I can go with him. Everything is new to him, so I get to grow with him.

Yeah. I had never done a load of laundry in my life! But it was really exciting. I like challenges.

I’d really love to do a period piece—you get to wear the funny costumes!

I’d love to work with Stifler’s mom in American Pie! She is just so funny. She’s just one of those people!

What’s the most random job you’ve had? 你做过的最随意的工作是什么？
Once, in high school, I had to dress up as Cookie Monster and hand out cookies. At first I didn’t think it was so bad because I was disguised in a costume, but some of my friends found out. I was so embarrassed!

I have a major sweet tooth. I love chocolate and ice cream!

Are you into music at all? 你会享受音乐吗？
If I had to pick one genre of music, I’d say country. I like all the stuff on the radio, like top 40…I’m a totally radio whore!

Was it difficult to get your family to support your career choice? 让你的家庭支持你的职业选择难吗？
Yeah, it was difficult in the beginning. Everyone in my family is into sports—like my dad coached me and my brothers on all our baseball teams, football teams and soccer teams. But I just didn’t really care about sports—it didn’t interest me that much. I did feel pressure...but in the end, they were extremely supportive. I love my family, I love them to death. I’m the oldest of four—two brothers and one sister. Even my sister plays baseball with the boys. She’s 13...she just runs out there.”

I think from my aunt. We were talking about when I first got into the industry and I was getting a little discouraged. And she said, “Matt, shut up, you’re not lucky—you make your luck.”
